Mr. Kim Sung Chan: A Special Paratrooper in the Korean War and a Supporter of Agent Orange Victims. Mr. Kim Sung Chan is known to have served as a special paratrooper during the Korean War from 1964 to 1968. He has lived and worked in Vietnam since 2003, marking 20 years of residence in the country. With a deep compassion for all Agent Orange victims, he participated in the Vietnam-wide journey (2013-2014) to support Agent Orange victims who use three-wheeled vehicles. He has always shown great concern and empathy for these victims.
On October 23, 2023, a meeting was held at the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Center (VKCC) in Ho Chi Minh City, where the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, led by Major General Tran Ngoc Tho (President of the Association) and Mrs. Dau Thi Nga (Chief Accountant of the Association), gathered with several Korean individuals and businesses. These guests shared their compassionate hearts and solidarity with the Agent Orange victims. During the event, Mr. Kim Sung Chan donated 10 million VND to support the victims.

With the aim of "Easing the Pain of Agent Orange," in collaboration with the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Center, the event aimed to alleviate the physical and emotional suffering of the victims, as well as the difficulties faced by their families. Through the call of the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Center, Mr. Kim Sung Chan was introduced to the Association and had the opportunity to become a member, continuing to support the victims in the future.

At this gathering, Major General Tran Ngoc Tho expressed sincere appreciation for Mr. Kim Sung Chan’s kindness toward the Agent Orange victims and, on behalf of the Association, presented him with a letter of thanks.
We hope that these heartfelt gestures will touch the hearts of all. Together, we can unite our efforts to spread love and compassion to those in need. These small acts of charity carry immense meaning, filled with deep affection and shared humanity.
