On August 10, the International Agent Orange Foundation HOAVAVA officially signed an international cooperation MOU with Panacell Biotech Co., Ltd. (Korea), Panacell Biotech Global Co., Ltd., Hampshire Panacell Capital Co., Ltd., and Vietnam Green Hub Company for research and development of stem cell–based treatments for Agent Orange/dioxin victims. This agreement marks a meaningful step toward bringing new hope to millions still suffering from the wounds of war.

According to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA), more than 4.8 million people in Vietnam have been affected by Agent Orange, with many suffering from serious aftereffects such as severe illnesses, neurological disorders, weakened immunity, and congenital disabilities. Treatments utilizing stem cell technology hold the potential to dramatically improve the health and quality of life of these victims.
Chairman Kim Dae Jong of the International Agent Orange Foundation HOAVAVA, who has stood alongside Vietnamese Agent Orange victims for over 30 years, expressed his deep solidarity and unwavering commitment, stating: “Through this event, I hope we can help restore the health of the victims and relieve, even in part, the suffering they have endured for decades.”
Attending the event, General Trần Ngọc Thổ, former President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Victims of Agent Orange and Vice President of VAVA, conveyed his congratulations, saying: “I hope this collaboration will become the starting point for making the dream of sustainable treatment for victims a reality.”

Representatives from both Korea and Vietnam shared the vision and determination embodied in this agreement, pledging to walk together on the path of healing the wounds of war through science, technology, and compassion.
Today, through this historic international cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, HOAVAVA has opened a new chapter in finding sustainable healing solutions for Agent Orange victims. This is not merely a scientific project—it is a genuine promise. HOAVAVA will continue to connect the world through knowledge, technology, and heartfelt solidarity, working to heal the wounds of war.
With the vision of being “Where Science Meets Compassion,” HOAVAVA is steadfast in its mission to build long-term partnerships with Agent Orange victims, striving every day to bring more hope into their lives.
