On September 11, 2026, at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course in Ho Chi Minh City, HOAVAVA, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, organized the 2nd Charity Golf Tournament “For Agent Orange Victims” 2026. The event brought together more than 150 Vietnamese and Korean golfers, along with numerous delegates, distinguished guests, businesses, sponsors, and partner organizations.
Following the success of the 2025 program, this year’s tournament was organized with the aim of mobilizing social resources to support Agent Orange/Dioxin victims facing difficult circumstances. It was also one of HOAVAVA’s activities aimed at strengthening connections between the Vietnamese and Korean communities through charitable and community-oriented programs.

This year’s tournament received the attention and participation of numerous delegates, former leaders, and representatives of organizations and businesses from both Vietnam and Korea.
Representing Vietnam, the event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, former Politburo Member and former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Pham Van Ranh, former Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Long An Provincial People’s Council; Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA), along with numerous delegates and guests from various agencies, organizations, and businesses.
The presence of these distinguished delegates demonstrated their continued attention to and support for efforts to care for and assist Agent Orange/Dioxin victims, while also creating opportunities for organizations, businesses, and the wider community to participate in social activities.
Alongside Vietnamese delegates, the program was attended by a large number of Korean businesspeople, golfers, and guests living and working in Vietnam. This was also a notable feature of the tournament, as members of the two communities came together through a sporting event connected with a charitable purpose.
Throughout the preparation and organization of the tournament, Mr. Kim Dae Jong, Chairman of HOAVAVA, personally played a key role in connecting businesses, golfers, and the Korean community to support and participate in the program.
Through HOAVAVA’s network of connections, numerous Korean businesses, individuals, and golfers joined the tournament and contributed to activities supporting Agent Orange victims and people facing difficult circumstances.
HOAVAVA members also directly participated in various aspects of the preparation and organization, from coordinating with invited guests and connecting sponsors to supporting golfers and assisting with the on-site operation of the event.
In particular, the program was attended by Ms. Son Hae Eun, Permanent Advisor of HOAVAVA in Korea. Traveling from Korea to Vietnam, Ms. Son Hae Eun personally attended and supported the tournament, contributing to stronger connections among HOAVAVA members in Vietnam and Korea.
The participation of the Korean community together with HOAVAVA members created a space for Vietnamese-Korean exchange at the golf course, where sporting activities were combined with a meaningful social purpose.
The tournament went beyond the sporting competition itself, providing golfers with an opportunity to directly participate in a program supporting Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and people facing difficult circumstances. The participation of businesses, sponsors, and individuals contributed valuable resources to support activities carried out as part of the program.
One of the key components of the program was the direct provision of assistance to people facing difficult circumstances.
At the event, five Agent Orange victims facing difficult circumstances received direct support from the organizers. In addition, five Vietnamese-Korean families facing difficult circumstances also received assistance during the program.
Providing support directly at the event helped connect resources mobilized through charitable activities with specific beneficiaries, while highlighting the social purpose of the tournament.
Particularly during the gala dinner, performances by Agent Orange victims left a deep impression on the attendees. Through music and performances, the victims shared stories of resilience and determination, giving guests a deeper understanding of the lives of those affected by the consequences of Agent Orange/Dioxin exposure.
For many participants, the event was more than simply a social gathering following the tournament. It was also an opportunity to meet, share, and stand alongside the individuals and families receiving support.

The attention from the media helped bring information about the program to the public while also highlighting the Vietnamese-Korean community connection and the charitable programs being carried out by HOAVAVA. The tournament was attended, covered, and reported on by VTV, HTV, as well as numerous press agencies and media organizations.
The 2nd Charity Golf Tournament was one of HOAVAVA’s activities aimed at connecting the Vietnamese and Korean communities and mobilizing resources for programs supporting Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and people facing difficult circumstances.
With the participation and support of HOAVAVA Chairman Kim Dae Jong, HOAVAVA members, delegates, golfers, businesses, sponsors, and guests, the program brought together sports, cultural exchange, and charitable activities in a meaningful community event.
For HOAVAVA, the 2nd Charity Golf Tournament was not simply an annual sporting event, but also an opportunity to expand the participation and support of the Vietnamese and Korean communities in social and charitable activities.
Through programs such as the charity golf tournament, HOAVAVA continues to strengthen its role in connecting individuals, organizations, and businesses from both countries, helping spread a spirit of sharing and solidarity while bringing additional resources to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and people facing difficult circumstances.
