In early spring 2024, the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Center - VKCC together with representatives from K1 TRADE CONSULTING Co., Ltd. made a meaningful visit to Thien Duyen Shelter - a shelter for children and disadvantaged people located in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City (Cu Chi is an area heavily affected by war remnants). This is a volunteer activity in a series of community support events that HOAVAVA has been carrying out to help disadvantaged people who are struggling with the consequences of Agent Orange.
Thien Duyen Shelter - Where Love Spreads
Thien Duyen Shelter is a shelter managed by Ma Muoi. Ma Muoi is a mother who has spent more than half of her life taking care of unfortunate people. Some of the children are orphans, whose parents are affected by Agent Orange, others are suffering from serious illnesses, and some have been abandoned by their own families. The shelter is not only a place for the children to take refuge, but also a place where they are cared for, learn, and access development opportunities in a loving environment from Mother Muoi in particular, and from Thien Duyen shelter in general.
HOAVAVA and K1 TRADE CONSULTING LLC - Sharing Love
On January 2, 2024, with the mission of "Joining hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange/dioxin", General Director Kim Dae Jong and members of the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Center VKCC became a bridge for K1 TRADE CONSULTING LLC to visit Thien Duyen shelter. This is also one of the series of volunteer activities that General Director Kim Dae Jong and members have been trying to do in the past time.

After more than 1 hour and 30 minutes of traveling, the group arrived. Here, we visited Ma Muoi and the children. In addition to supporting the orphanage with practical gifts, we also listened more deeply to the sharing related to the orphanage and the lives of the children here and most of all, we were able to see the products made by the orphanage itself. The Vietnam - Korea Cultural Exchange Center - VKCC is very honored to be a bridge for K1 TRADE CONSULTING Company Limited to have the opportunity to visit the orphanage directly to better understand the lives of the victims affected by Agent Orange, as well as feel the love that Ma Muoi has for this place. Above all, our entire group truly appreciates the affection that the orphanage has for the group.

Although the trip has ended, the mission of the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Exchange Center VKCC will always be here and we will not leave anyone behind.
